Skate Canada's flagship learn-to-skate program that offers basic skating instruction by Professional Skate Canada Coaches assisted by trained program assistants. Program length is 1 hour, 2 times a week on Monday & Wednesday's. Program starts in October and can end in December or skaters can continue for the full season, ending in March.
Provides components of the Canskate program to participants who have never skated before or who are not confident with their balance on the ice. Program length is 1/2 hour, 2 times a week on Monday & Wednesday's. Program starts in October and can end in December or skaters can continue for the full season, ending in March.
An action packed, high energy instructional power skating program geared to hockey and ringette skaters that focuses on balance, power, agility, speed and endurance. Program runs during the month of September.
Skills, Test, Achievement, Recognition - this is what STARskate is all about! STARskate offers opportunities for skaters to develop fundamental figure skating skills in the areas of dance, skills, freeskate and interpretive skating. This program is offered 4,5 or 6 hours per week.
